In line with the first National Freelancers Day, which was held on 23rd November 2009, Independent Contractor Services (ICS) ran a competition aimed at all contractors and freelancers. To be in with a chance to win a trip to Krakow, they simply had to enter a few details via our website.
The winner, Phil from North West England, accompanied by his wife, managed to narrowly avoid the volcanic ash crisis, and in April flew to Krakow for the weekend. We organised the entire trip and the winners were put up in a fantastic hotel in the heart of the old town.
They kindly sent us an email on their return which said;
“We would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your company so much for our wonderful break to Krakow, flights left on time and the hotel was fabulous. The only down side of the whole trip was two days was not enough, it is such a beautiful city and we are planning to re-visit it later on in the year for maybe 4 days. We can’t thank you enough for allowing us to have such a lovely time and for you being so helpful all of the time.”
We are thrilled that they had a great time!
The PCG launched National Freelancers Day in drive to gain wider recognition for the contribution that freelancers, consultants and contractors make to the UK economy.
Independent Contractor Services (ICS) are well established within the contractor marketplace and offer a range of accountancy and administration services to contractors and freelancers alike.
